Story

I'm running for the trees this year to support Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. Westonbirt is such a special place that means so much to so many (including Peanut and Jelly!). We all have a Westonbirt story, Westonbirt is a part of my story.

Westonbirt is the only 10k race I run and this year marks something different for me in terms of goals.

I've had to have a Hip Arthroscopy and that took place in October 2022 as I've got deformities on both my hip joints that need correcting and I'm almost complete in my rehab for the left side. My stretch goal has been to run in this years' race and then I can get the right side done.

Please make a donation to help me reach my target. Every pound helps to protect trees and enrich lives. Together we can save trees from the brink of extinction, inspire a young person to a career in nature, and help families access safe, green spaces.

We support Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, one of the most diverse tree collections in Europe, home to over 15,000 trees and 600 acres of woodland. We do this by: conserving our natural heritage, educating the next generation of conservationists & widening access and participation at Westonbirt.
