In memory of Richard Bowler

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

On 24th December 2012 my grandad Richard 'Jack' Bowler sadly passed away after living with Alzheimer's for the last 6 years of his life.

my grandad 'Bamps' was a great man who served for his country and loved the simple things in life.

in memory of a great man and to help those who know someone or also lost someone i plan to cycle from Swindon-Scotland with my friend Carl Tayor.

We will leave Swindon on the 2nd August and only plan to stop for refreshments and toilet breaks. With the help of a support vehicle being driven by Andy Phillips we won't stop till we reach the Scotland boarder.

This will be painful but I hope that many people will help and me get behind such a great charity.

help me help others and leave a donation.

thanks Marc Stephens
