Walk/Run to the Wall · 2 June 2018

The RMP CBF was set up in 1944 to maintain esprit de corps of the Royal Military Police and importantly to provide financial and moral help to current and former members of the Corps, and their dependents, who may for the time being be in need of charitable assistance or benefit.

Story

I conduct an annual chairty event in aid of the Royal Military Police Central Benevolent Fund (RMP CBF).  Previous years have seen skydives, fire walks, marathons, mountain marathons and most recently a one hundred mile run within twenty-four hours.

2018 will see me run/walk the distance from the Regimental  Headquarters, Royal Military Police, Southwick Park, Fareham, Hampshire to the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA), Alrewas, Burton-on-Trent, for the RMP Act of Remembrance Parade on Sat 2 Jun 18. The full distance 157.2 miles will be covered over six days (six marathons in six days) commencing on Sun 27 May 18 and due to complete on Fri 1 Jun 18, prior to being driven to the NMA for the Act of Remembrance Parade on Sat 2 Jun 18.

Due to the actual route between locations being of a dangerous nature the route will be conducted on the Salisbury Plain Training Area (SPTA).

I have raised over £25000 for this charity over the years and thank you for your contribution to our charity.
