Story

We all hope that 2021 will be the start of a new beginning and a fresh start after the challenging year 2020 was for all charities, businesses and families. This month, I'm giving something up to benifit my health and support our local air ambulance service. Please support my challenge by donating above. Your donations will ensure the HEMS medical service team can continue to save many lives, brains and limbs all over Northern Ireland. The charity Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the province. It is operational 365 days of the year, 7am-7pm and can get to any point in Northern Ireland within twenty-five minutes. With an annual operational cost of £2 million, public donations are crucial. Since it's inception in July 2017, the HEMS team have responded to over 1,881 incidents.
