WVI Lockdown Warriors 2021

February 100km walk challenge · 1 February 2021
I've accepted the WVI Lockdown Warriors Challenge for wildlife. I will be walking 100 kilometres throughout February. During these times of limited exercise and lockdowns, to beat the spread of covid19, I find myself unable to work and so feel it is an ideal opportunity to push myself to help make something better in the world, even in just a small way at this moment in time. As an ex animal keeper and overseas rescue centre volunteer I'm really passionate about protecting endangered species. I have chosen to fundraise for Wildlife Vets international, so they can train more vets on the conservation frontline. Saving species from extinction is a complicated puzzle. Together we can complete the picture and put veterinary science at the heart of conservation. Please donate what you can, as every pound really does make a difference. But, if you cannot donate I totally understand and maybe just a share on your FB page will help spread awareness and love for our wildlife. I will keep you up to date as to how I'm doing with my challenge. Wish me luck. Thank you so much for joining me in caring.
