Anyone who knew Marcia, knew she was dog daft. In her memory I plan to fund raise for a dementia assistance dog, named Marcia to live and work in Scotland. The target is £21000 this for the pup, training and various other costs involved to get these clever dogs to develop and maintain a set of core skills that enable people with dementia to maintain a quality and connected life in their community. Marcia worked for Alzhiemers Scotland for many years and took great interest and pleasure from the dementia dogs project and I feel is a fitting tribute to my beautiful, supportive, enabling wife.
