Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking on the Virgin London Marathon in 2015, and will be attempting the World Record for Fastest Marathon carrying an 80LB Pack.  The record stands at 5 hr 58 min 58 sec.  Here's why I'm doing it:

1. I will be raising funds for Hope and Homes for Children, an amazing organisation that works to provide all children the care of a loving home.
2. 80LB's is the average weight of an 11 year old child.  So literally, I will carry their weight on my shoulders!
3. To celebrate my sisters birthday on 26th April!
   
4. I will turn 40 in 2015, and having endured lots of jokes from my younger friends (and siblings!) concerning my age, I want to show that there is no boundary to what can be done, if you want it enough.

Ok, so I may not break the World Record, but I will give it a hell of a go, and I promise that I will finish all 26.2 miles carrying the pack regardless.  All I ask of you, is that you provide support and a nice message by donating here, on Justgiving.
