Story
Hi everyone, if you're on this page you probably know the situation! Laura has been dealing with a brain tumour since diagnosis back in 2016, and following surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy things have been fairly quiet.
During the latest scan we were told the tumour has shown growth, and so Laura will be going through additional treatments soon in an effort to beat the tumour into submission (again).
To show our support for her and to help raise money for Brain Tumour Research, myself and some friends from Lancaster University will be taking part in the Brain Tumour Research "Jog 26.2 Miles in May" challenge. I may not jog the whole way (or at all!!), but I will be pushing myself to do as much of the distance in a single go as I can.
Thank you so much for your support, and a huge thanks to those who have supported us in previous fundraising efforts. It is because of all of you that we will be able to go to a Brain Tumour Research Centre to place a plaque on the Wall of Hope for Laura. We plan on raising even more money in future and hopefully getting another plaque!!
