On May 24th 2009, I and a few others will be taking on the challange of cycling from Cherbourg to Paris, stopping off at Battlefields, Landing Beaches and Cemetries, covering 80 miles a day for 5 /6 days to raise money to help for our gallant servicemen and women who have sustained life changing injuries in the many conflicts that they are involved in. All money raised will go to help funding for the Hedley Court Rehabilitation Centre.

As most of you know I have my own problems with diabetes and this challange will test me more than most.  However,  the fitness levels I hope to achieve between now and the end of May will help me over come these problems and I very much look forward to cycling into the centre of Paris.
