Last year I couldn’t properly participate in the relay for life; I was spending as much time as I could with my baby brother as he fought his cancer; the day of the relay was the last time I saw him, he passed away the following day.

The time since has been extremely hard, I miss him dreadfully. So this year I will be doing relay in his honour, he was truly inspirational in how he coped with his illness, always staying positive - never moaning about his condition or saying why me.

Ian’s cancer was very rare and very aggressive, fundraising is a vital tool to help find new treatments for all cancers and make Ian’s cancer as treatable as others.
