Well, I’m absolutely flabbergasted, on several fronts…..the organisation of the event, the fantastic, enthusiastic and unstinting level of participation of all my family and some of my friends, the generosity of all of the sponsors, the kind wishes and messages from everyone and last but not least amazing fact that the target has been exceeded by such a vast amount. 

I know that there are a few people whose efforts were rewarded mainly with huge blisters and very sore muscles, however the way in which these have been ‘washed over’ has been near on heroic! 

I’m sure that the MNDA would support me in saying a HUGE THANK YOU to all those that have made this fundraising event such a GREAT SUCCESS.
