One day, three peaks, 15,000 futures. On Saturday 17 June 2023 Roundhouse will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise funds for our work with young people.

Story

We've just launched the new Roundhouse Works building at the Roundhouse, a creative centre for young people that will enable us to double the numbers of young people we work with each each....

So it felt like the right thing to do to take on another challenge to raise money to fund the projects that will inhabit Roundhouse Works... however, having focused all my efforts on the new building it now feels a little daunting to walk 26 miles including three peaks in one day. Therefore I need your help to encourage me along the way....

So.... One day, three peaks, 15,000 futures. On Saturday 17 June 2023 Roundhouse will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise funds for our work with young people. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a circular walk which encompasses three major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales, Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, the best-known hills in the area. This is some of the most picturesque landscape in the UK. Make no mistake, it's a tough challenge with over 1600m of ascent, 39.2km in distance, all to be accomplished within 12hrs.

As in The Police song:

Every breath you take
And every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you

To help not break the promise of taking on this challenge and to help me please support me to take lots of steps, lots of breaths so that I reach my fundraising target.

I greatly appreciate your support.
