Next month myself and a fine mate of mine are cycling from the bottom (Land's End) to the top (John O'Groats) - 960 miles in 9 days so roughly 105 miles a day plus a bit on some particularly nasty days.

The route: 9th-17th September 2017
Day 1 - 107 miles with 7,000 ft total ascents (Oakhampton)
Day 2 - 110 miles with 6,000 ft total ascents (Bath)
Day 3 - 99 miles with 3,000 ft total ascents (Ludlow)
Day 4 - 105 miles with 2,300 total ascents (Haydock)
Day 5 - 108 miles with 5,200 ft total ascents (Penrith)
Day 6 - 100 miles with 2,800 ft total ascents (Hamilton)
Day 7 - 126 miles (!) with 6,000 ft total ascents (Fort William)
Day 8 - 110 miles with 4,900 ft total ascents (Kyle of Sutherland)
Day 9 - 104 miles with 4,100 ft total ascents (John O'Groats)
