Hi I'm Marcus Dunford-Castro and I am 17 years old, I recently did NCS and have chosen to help the AOK Rucksack Appeal for my social action project, to help raise awareness and funds for the homeless people around Bournemouth.

The way in which I decided to help raise money is by doing a sponsored rough sleep in Bournemouth Town Centre on the 17th November, this is because I want to experience what homeless people go through so that I can help people understand how tough it is.

AOK rucksack appeal is a charity that is local to the Bournemouth area that provides the homeless people with clothing, food, toiletries and other necessities. 

Being homeless in Britain is one of the worst possible experiences, imagine being alone when its freezing cold with nowhere to go and nowhere to call home. It is so difficult for these people to escape due to lack of opportunities available and I want to change this and would love you to help me do this! 

By providing clothes and toiletries we would be able to keep them warm during the tough times ahead.
