Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. I will keep it short :)

Together with some of my Disney colleagues I will be participating in a Gorge to Gorge Challenge in Somerset to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and I need your help with that!

As most of you know, Great Ormond Street Hospital is the country's leading centre for treating children from all around the world. However, they need to raise over £50 million every year to keep the hospital operational which is why we are packing our backpacks and sleeping bags (apparently a head torch is also needed?!) and participate in this challenge.

Day 1 consists of a 7 mile walk followed by a 25 miles bike ride and 70ft Abseil. Day 2 sees us all participate in a 12 mile walk, followed by a 7 mile treasure hunt. Everyone who has seen me on my beloved rusty, old Granny bike can imagine that the cycling part will definitely prove to be the biggest challenge!

Your donation will go towards funding a new interactive area within the new clinical building creating an inspirational space for patients and their families which will hopefully make their time at GOSH a bit easier.

I have set the target at £450; however I hope to raise a lot more. Any contribution is welcome, so please give generously.

Danke dass Ihr euch Zeit genommen habt, auf meiner JustGiving Seite vorbei zu schauen. Ich verspreche, ich mach es kurz :)

Zusammen mit ein paar meiner Disney Kollegen werde ich im Juni an einem Trek in Somerset teilnehmen um Geld fuer das Great Ormond Street Hospital in London zu sammeln.

Great Ormond Street Hospital ist eines der renommiertesten Kinderkrankenhaeuser und behandelt kleine Patienten aus aller Welt. Um diesem Ruf auch weiterhin gerecht zu werden und um den Aufenthalt seiner Patienten ein klein wenig zu erleichten, sammelt GOSH jaehrlich mehr als £50 Millionen, zu denen wir dieses Jahr hoffentlich etwas beitragen koennen.

Dafuer werde ich mich in die englische Wildnis begeben und 2 Tage lang meine Fitness testen! Tag 1 beginnt mit einer 7 Meilen Wanderung gefolgt von 25 Meilen Rad fahren. Danach duerfen wir uns aus 21m Hoehe abseilen (das klingt wesentlich weniger gefaehrlich als 70 feet!). An Tag 2 wandern wir nochmal 12 Meilen und danach beenden wir den Trek mit einer 7 Meilen langen 'Schnitzeljagd' (ich rechne das jetzt besser nicht in km um, das wird zu deprimierend...).

Eure Spenden kommen einem neuen interaktiven Bereich zugute, der den Patienten und ihren Familien Raum fuer Enstpannung und Inspiration geben soll und ihren Aufenthalt hoffentlich ein wenig angenehmer macht.

Mein Ziel ist, es £450 zu sammeln (ca.540€) - aber falls es mehr wird, waere das natuerlich toll! Jeder noch so kleine Betrag hilft!
