My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Earlier this year my family experienced the loss of one of our Anton, when he was killed in Afghanisatan along with 5 others whilst on patrol in their Warrior vehicle. We, and the other soldiers families, are still coming to terms with our loss and this is being helped by the support we have received from other members of their regiment and the armed forces.

Part of this support has been to talk to the soldiers on the front line and to understand their determination to fulfil their mission so that nobody can be deemed to have died in vain.

Myself and Gemma and family members of Wilf who was killed at the same time, are walking to support Yorkshire Regiment Charitable Trust so that any returning member of the Armed forces who has been injured can be given the best opportunity for recovery and a return to as normal a life as possible, also on going help will be available in later life or for struggling family members
