At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi, On 17th Feb I started a trek in the mountains of Tasmania in memory of my mum who died in January after many years battling her dementia.

The trek has now been completed. Details of how this 65km trek became 91km can be viewed by clicking on the following link:  http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Tasmania/Cradle-Mountain-Lake-St-Clair-National-Park/blog-772755.html

Any money raised will be donated to Alzheimer's Society in recognition of the excellent support they offer to people who suffer from this terrible illness and their carers

I would really appreciate any support you could offer to this outstanding organisation
