We help people diagnosed with a brain tumour. We aim to give everyone diagnosed access to the resources that will put them back in control. We enable brain tumour patients and carers to become resilient and to utilise brain tumour support resources from all providers to their full potential.

Story

I have been one of the 30 people a day diagnosed with a brain tumour twice now in the past three years. Diagnosis is frightening and the period from hearing those earth shattering words “you have a large mass on your brain “ and latterly “there are signs of regrowth “ catapult you into a hitherto unknown world.

Brainstrust are an amazing charity that have both supported and encouraged me on this unplanned journey. This is my way of saying thank you .

I hope to raise enough money to provide at least a dozen brain boxes. These are invaluable information packs that are sent to newly diagnosed patients if requested.

Those of you that know me well will be aware that I am not a natural runner. I will do my very best to do a mile a day although I suspect that in the early days it will be more power walking than running!!

I will keep you updated on my progress and thank you for your support.
