Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of my family and friends will know that as a teenager I was a member of the Suffolk Royals Marching Band and Majorettes, where I played the clarinet.

In 2014 to help celebrate the return of the Sudbury Carnival after a break of nearly 20 years, former members of 3 local Marching Bands united together to raise money for Caner Research.

For 2016 we will be again marching, but this time as And The Beat Goes On for our own charities.

I have chosen to support Medic Alert as I think what they do is a vital life line for those of us who have a hidden medical condition. I have worn a Medic Alert bracelet since I was 12 years old, and thankfully I have never required their services. It's always good to know they will be there for me in my time of need. Medic Alert receive no government funding for the service they provide: 24/7, 365 days a year, from anywhere in the world.
