Story

I first got into running when my Mum passed away in 2012. It was all fairly sudden. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in the Summer, but seemed to be getting better, but sadly after a rather invasive operation, she passed just before Christmas.

The support and kindness given by the Macmillan nurses when my Mum was ill was greatly touching and helped her and our family through a very difficult time. I could not think more highly of them; their work helps people with all the things affected by cancer and fundraising makes their invaluable work possible.

For 3 years, I ran the 10k in London for Macmillan with my brilliant friends who did all they could to help. Last year I ran the Manchester Half Marathon with my partner Sam

I will hugely appreciate any support you can give so please dig deep and donate to a great cause, in memory of an irreplaceable Mum.
