With sadness but also love-filled memories, we're sorry to say that Margery Christian died on the 4th May 2020 after a stoic fight with motor neurone disease and latterly cancer.

A wonderful woman - Mum, (Great) Grandma, Oma, Aunt, 'Marg' and Friend - just a few of the ways she was known, reflecting how widespread her friends and family were.

Anyone who visited would see the time and love she put into her garden and her cooking. But these were outward demonstrations of Margery's core principle which can be summed up in just one word - kindness.
