Streets of Growth Cycling Challenge · 24 October 2019

We break the cycle of poverty and street violence by creating a future where young people have real opportunities. We engage 300+ vulnerable young people a year in transformational coaching, accredited training, quality work experiences and holistic support to move successfully into work.

Story

On Thursday 24 October as part of Foundation Week, MAM and Balance at Macquarie will be hosting the “Streets of Growth Cycling Challenge” to raise funds for Streets of Growth.

Streets of Growth is a social intervention charity working with high risk young adults aged 15 – 25 years across Tower Hamlets in London, ensuring that no young person gets left behind.

Over its 18 years of activity, Streets of Growth has supported over 3,000 young people through ‘targeted’ project programming with relentless street outreach and intervention work to disrupt the cycle of gangs, criminality, violence and hopelessness, and ensure young adults socially and economically thrive out of harms way.
