Before the pandemic, I visited 87 year old Daisy once a week on behalf of Age UK's befriending service.

The wonderful thing is, not only was I making such a positive difference to Daisy's well-being, but I genuinely learnt so much from her in return about life :)

Due to Covid-19, the marathon has sadly been postponed until October 2021 - which means I need your support to kickstart the training again and get me through those hot, summer runs!

I am so grateful for any contribution - however small or big!

£10 could enable a local age uk to deliver services to isolated older people.

£20 could pay for two weekly befriending calls to isolated older people who have no one to turn to.

Donating to this page will help the national Age UK to continue providing vital services that offer companionship, advice and support for more elderly people like Daisy.
