In the past four months, the violence in the inner city neighborhoods has increased significantly.  There have been 14 shootings and 4 teens killed.  

I am rising up in partnership with Emerald Youth so young people in the heart of Knoxville can have the opportunity to play sports that, otherwise, they wouldn't have access to.  

I am rising up to help children develop healthy lifestyles that will combat the high obesity rates in their neighborhoods.   Emerald Youth teaches young people how to care for their bodies in a God-honoring way through sports, swim lessons, and a health curriculum. 

I am rising up to provide a safe haven for kids to feel secure, establish healthy relationships, and be inspired to become future Godly leaders of their communities.
