1 in 2 of us will have to fight cancer in our lifetime. That’s either you or me! I bet you already know someone who is currently battling this awful illness! I just want to play my own part in helping maybe you or me or someone else we love continue to increase the odds in winning the battle!

After many years of not running (& even then it was no further than 10km!) I recently completed the Couch to 5km programme and wanted an incentive to continue running. Over the years I always would’ve liked to have ran the Royal Parks Half marathon however never thought it’d be something I’m capable of running that distance! 

It was my dads birthday at the end of September and I wanted to do something to mark it by doing something to make him proud, as know he’d be there cheering me on, encouraging me, like he’s always done, if he could. However I know on the day he’ll be with me looking down every step of the way,  thinking that’s my girl 💕

So this is the reason why in a moment of madness I’ve signed up to run 13.2miles for Cancer Research. If you to would like to help me in assisting them in raising funds we’d be truly grateful.
