Story

 Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you so much for visiting my Just Giving page.

Approximately 850,000 people are living with dementia in the UK, and that figure is set to increase. I would like to invite you to help support the work of the Alzheimer’s Society, a charity I have supported for a number of years.

From my own personal experience I know when I needed its help, it was there for me and my family.

2020 has sent many challenges to all of us, but to those living with dementia it has brought additional difficulties which we may find hard to understand. There are many ways the Alzheimer’s Society is helping even in these most testing of times, but to continue to provide this support, funds are constantly needed.

This year on Sunday 6th December I am planning to do a 10km walk around a local park dressed as an ELF!!

Yes you read correctly.…. my family will also be involved and  hopefully joining me( depending on  covid restrictions) in “Festive Fancy Dress” and we plan to have some mischievous fun along the way!

A donation from you, however small (or large!) will be most welcome and not only will it help those living with dementia today but also looking to the future to help continue funding research  to help find a cure.

Mille Grazie,

Forza Elf Day!
