Story

IT HAS TO BEEN DONE!!!

Couch potato to Laura Kenny (nee Trott) in 10 months!😱😱😱

In November this year I am taking part in Women V Cancer India cycle ride through rural Rajasthan from Taj Mahal to Jaipur. The challenge is 450km over five days for three women's cancer charities, Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.

Since 2006 I have had 2x surgery, 2x chemotherapy and radiotherapy for breast cancer. The charity Breast Cancer Care provided invaluable support and care throughout the whole process and in appreciation for all they did for me, and do for many women like me, I would like to raise some money and push myself physically and mentally by doing this huge challenge.

My training has commenced, despite the cold weather, and after a very slow start trying to master smooth gear changes the countdown has begun. Please support me in this enormous, slightly overwhelming, challenge by donating what you can for these three fantastic charities.

So, sprockets have been replaced (who knew?) and gear changes are getting easier....India here I come!

Huge thanks
