In Punjab, out of a population of 22 million children between the ages of 5-11 years old, approximately 3.3 million children, mostly girls are out of school owing to the grossly ill-equipped public schooling system that is unable to meet the needs of a growing population.
We would like you to join us in our endeavour to open a new school in Mohri Sharif village in Tehsil Kharian in the Punjab province. This exciting new institution will provide primary education to 250 children each year, offering new hope to a community for generation to come insha'Allah. Once open, this school will operate on a self-sustainable model, meaning that your support now ill bear fruit for many years to come.
In the current pandemic, death has become a stark and undeniable reality for all of us. Nobody knows when our time will come but we have to be prepared for that eventuality and this project will insha'Allah be a means for our salvation and a continuous source of reward.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. [Muslim]
May Allah accept our efforts and allow it to be a doorway to more good and a means for our entry into Jannatul firdous.
