Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The pandemic started disrupting life, as we know it nearly a whole year ago. During that time, our lovely, local school has not been able to raise funds by our usual means. No fetes, no quizzes, no bingo, no tombolas. Limited ice cream Fridays and non uniform days. Our fundraising has taken a huge hit!
Our little school, Salhouse Primary School, with just 120 pupils, relies on this money to fund so many projects big and small.
I would like to raise money to buffer the funds and help those pupils and their families who are struggling during the pandemic. Whether that help comes in the form of a food or care package, a second hand laptop or a brand new iPad, every penny I can raise will go to help.
My aim is to row 1 million metres on my concept 2 Rowing machine. I started on 2nd January and would like to finish by my 50th birthday in July.
So you can determine what a challenge this is I can tell you It takes me about 30 mins to row 6000m at a steady pace - and so far between 2/1/21 and today 25/1/21 I have rowed 160,000
