Sarcoidosis is a rare disease and has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure. We work to change that. Our 4 goals; information, support, awareness and research. We receive no government money and are 100% reliant on your generosity. Any donation makes a huge difference.

Story

As you will all know, Sarcoidosis is a disease that has impacted our family since Eugene's diagnosis nearly 4 yrs ago. COVID-19 and Pulmonary Sarcoidosis are not good bed partners which has resulted in 18 months of upheaval in our family, especially for Eugene who still needs to continue to shield. The picture on my page sums it all up, with Eugene always taking his circumstances in good grace, even whilst sitting outside in a gale!

The homemade Triathlon myself and 5 friends completed in April for my 50th whet my appetite to try an organized Triathlon, something that has been on my bucket list for years. I have been gritting my teeth throughout my training with lots of encouragement and fun being had with Gaynor, Clare, and Kirstie who will also be doing the event.  Knowing I can help raise money for a charity close to my heart gives it all a bit more meaning.

The charity I am fundraising for is called Sarcoidosis UK. They are dedicated to funding at least one major piece of research per year, and will continue to do this until a cure is found. Your donation will help!
