As you know, COVID-19 has brought very difficult times for us all. Sadly it has been more challenging for some than others and many have experienced the loss of loved ones, loneliness, loss of income, fear and anxiety.

This last year has made me realise how grateful I am for the love and support of my family and friends and for the comfort and security I am extremely fortunate to live in. But I also think about the families living on the margins of society who don’t have these luxuries that I often take for granted. These people are very much in need of our help!

So for the month of February, the Parkinson family are aiming to walk/run 240 miles (386km) in support of Shiva Trust.

Shiva Trust is a selfless charity helping people from all backgrounds who are socially and economically disadvantaged. The work of The Shiva Trust brings much needed support to adults and children living in poverty, which involves the provision of food parcels and helping to educate and support individuals, families and communities affected by mental health issues.

The Parkinson family want to support The Shiva Trust to give something back to the families whose needs are far greater than our own. Please will you help us by giving what you can?
