Since my Dad died suddenly in 2018 I made it my mission to run all 6 World Marathon Majors within 3 years and to receive my coveted 6 star medal. Dad was always very proud of my running although he didn't always show it. "Why run when you can take the bus" was one of his more popular sayings :

After Tokyo in a few weeks time I just have New York to complete the series. Since I started my quest the end of each race has been more and more emotional. I will definitely be requiring a box of tissues at the finish line on 1st November! 

I am a great believe in supporting local events and people. So, I am going to run New York on behalf of a NE charity "Charlie House"
