Story

Every year I say never again, then I go an sign up to an even harder challenge!

Thank you so much for visiting my page!

On September 1st 2019, I will be walking/jogging 45km, from Hove to Arundel. This is all to raise as much money for Chestnut Tree House. Chestnut Tree House is a children's charity, providing hospice
care services and community support for children and young people with progressive life-shortening conditions throughout East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire.

Chestnut Tree House need over £3.9 million each year in order to provide these services, with only 6p in every pounds coming from the government.

Although I have no personal connection with this charity, I remember going to an open day they had many years ago, and being impacted by how bright and vibrant and full of love and care the house felt. Every child deserves to be happy and feel safe, and every family member deserves support and a safe place. This is what Chestnut Tree House provides.

About the charity

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.
