To ensure a place of safety is available to all bulldogs who's owners can no longer keep

Story

I have been an official volunteer at Bulldog Rescue (BDR) for nearly a year, but have been helping fundraise since we got our first bulldog in 2004.   Due to the Coronavirus all our fundraising events have been suspended and the rescue are dealing with emergency cases only.  Our fundraising events are the main source of income for BDR and we are expecting to experience a huge financial loss as a result of the restrictions in place.  We are looking at alternative ways to raise monies through online events and competitions.

The treasure map is a fun way to raise monies and for the winner to receive a Hamper of Goodies if their chosen square is drawn.

Bulldog Rescue and Rehoming has been in its current form since April 2001 and registered as a charity since 2006, it helps approximately 200 bulldogs every year - not just by offering a rescue and rehoming service but we also offer many other avenues of help to Bulldog owners across mainland UK such as Bulldog clinic, behaviour advice, breeder services, reunite lost dogs, bereavement counselling and crisis support.

Our rescue is made up of a network of volunteers who between them travel over 10,000 miles a year, home checking and collecting bulldogs for rehoming and fostering.
