Our fund facilitates a support group for patients who have suffered from TTP, a rare disorder of the blood coagulation system. We also support lab-based research at UCLH. We are a fund within UCLH Charity, the main charity for UCLH NHS FT.

Story

Every year TTP patients, family, friends and the TTP team at  UCLH take part in the annual London Bridgathon sponsored walk.  This year we encourage you to go local and walk around your park, lake, streets or even your garden!  Please do remember Covid guidelines if you are meeting other people outside your household.  You can set your target to walk between 1-6 miles and take as many breaks as you want.

Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) is a rare blood disorder that occurs when the ADAMTS13 enzyme is affected causing small blood clots, low platelet count and destruction of blood cells.  TTP episodes are life threatening.

Please take part on 13 September and donate generously - Thanks for your support!

All proceeds will go to UCLH Charity TTP Education & Research
