From the moment our Mum arrived at St Raphael’s hospice my sister Julie and I knew she was in a very special place. She wasn’t a patient more as a guest that was given the most amazing, unconditional care and support. 

The care and kindness extended to us all as a family , all the staff were truly wonderful and so understanding. When Julie and my husband had a pizza delivered I was mortified but the staff laughed and reassured me that this was fine - and yes I did eat some !!!

Although we can never thank them enough I have decided to do this ‘ little run’ and fundraise to support St Raphael’s so that they can continue to give the  expert care and kindness to others.
