There are 1.5 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. For the UK's care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it's all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits.

Izzy 15, Charlie 14, James 11, Oliver 7 and Jude 5 will walk, run and cycle 200km between them over a week, starting from 30 May 2020, in order to raise money to support the Care Workers Charity.
