In 2010 I missed out on a night's sleep to do the Acorns Midnight Walk and raised a fantastic £248! This year I would love to raise a similar amount for this very deserving charity; so I am really pushing my boundaries in the hope that it will encourage you to dig deep into your pockets. I am abseiling. Yes abseiling!! 120 feet down House of Fraser, Birmingham, on Sunday 20th May. For those interested in seeing a very 'shaky' Marion step off a very tall building it will take place at 12:30. So please dig deep and support me.

Acorns Children's Hospice provide care and support for children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening conditions across the heart of England.

They provide short break, emergency and end-of-life care to support families. Over 600 children and 800 families, including those who are bereaved are currently being supported.

Acorns has three hospices in Selly Oak, Walsall and Worcester which currently costs over £8 million a year to run. They rely on the community to fund the majority. There is no charge to families for using the services provided.

I can't think of a better reason to really 'scare' myself by stepping off a very tall building!

Just £30 could pay for a multi-sensory therapy session - so please, please, please help us to help them.
