Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I don't regard myself as a strong cyclist but I am taking on the John O' Groats - Land's End challenge because I genuinely believe in the cause I am supporting. Too many lives are lost to brain tumours and I really want to contribute to the fight against this awful condition.
I will be cycling in honour of a special little girl called Keira Wrenn (Princess Keira) who tragically died of a brain tumour known as diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). Keira from Alford Lincolnshire was given just nine months to live when she was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour at the age of five. She went on to defy those odds and lived for another three years – becoming the UK’s longest surviving child of DIPG – which only affects around 35 children each year.
It will be a privilege to ride in Princess Keira's memory and I hope you feel able to support me. I would be very grateful for all donations.... no matter how big or small. Thank you so much, Marion x
