Story
As many of you know, I suffered a severe stroke in November 2022, following a ruptured cerebral aneurysm and was in hospital and inpatient rehabilitation for almost a year. As part of my ongoing rehab I decided that a walking challenge would help me continue to push myself to improve the progress in my physical health. I am therefore taking part in 62 miles in October 2025 to help keep active and raise vital funds to help stroke survivors find strength through support. Surviving a stroke is just the start of a long and gruelling recovery journey. Stroke Association are the UK’s leading stroke support charity, supporting 88,000 stroke survivors and their families every year to find the strength and determination they need to find their way back to life. Your fundraising can help in amazing ways. It’s only thanks to the generosity of our supporters and donors that we can provide the vital support stroke survivors and their families need.
