Story

Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page.

The plan was to run the Virgin London Marathon with my husband Mike, but alas I am now running alone!

I'm petrified of this enormous undertaking. As many of you know I run the occasional 10k but nothing comes close to this 26.2 mile run. BUT running for the RNIB, an excellent charity which is close to our hearts, will hopefully see me make it across the finish line.

The RNIB provides invaluable assistance to blind and visually impaired people including our 16 year old daughter Paige so if you wish to donate, PLEASE DO.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
