Story
A very heart felt story came from the 2 support groups. Jim & Ernie, a retired pastor, both in my group & both partners were in Care Givers group. Jim wished to marry his partner of many years & asked Ernie if he would perform the ceremony. Ernie was delighted to perform the ceremony. Jim had the 1st dance in his wheelchair with his new bride. Jim died at home 9 days after being wed, which he wanted. Through Hospice Simcoe he got his WISHES. Ernie has since passed at Hospice S. The wives have become good friends & support each other.
