This has been a difficult year for everyone -- and for some, devastating. Through it all, our national parks have been here for us -- places of solace, nurturing, and beauty. Each of our three Washington parks saw many, many visitors discovering their parks for the first time this year, and despite the very challenging conditions and reduced staff, the parks were there for us. But like all nonprofits, Washington's National Park Fund (WNPF) has had to make due with less this year -- which means fewer grants to fund the important projects park leadership have identified as current priorities. So I am asking friends and family to consider supporting WNPF this #GivingTuesday, December 1st. Any amount helps -- and we have $15,000 in matching funds courtesy of a generous donor, so every dollar you give will be doubled.
