Antartic Expedition in association with KPMG · 22 October 2012

Our experienced team of doctors, nutritionists, counsellors and therapists help people feel better in mind, body and spirit. From eating well and keeping active, to managing emotions and staying connected to the things we love.

Story

In December of this year I will be embarking on a ski trek to the South Pole, covering well over 100 miles in the inhospitable climate of Antarctica; temperatures as low as -40˚C at an altitude of over 3,000m above sea level. The trek marks three anniversaries, of varying significance, that have fallen during 2012 – UNITE’s 21 birthday, my own 40 birthday and the centenary of Scott reaching the South Pole. I have covered the full cost of the expedition personally and will be raising money for Penny Brohn Cancer Care, a Bristol-based charity that provides physical, emotional and spiritual support to people living with cancer.

I would like to thank KPMG as my primary supporter of this expedition.
