Mark and Dillon's page

Battle of the Badges · 30 June 2018 ·
Dillon wanted to be a Battle of the Badges mascot as he has been a patient in the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital for many years. When he was little, he was always getting ill and would often have to go to hospital. He would get a lot of throat, ear and chest infections, one of which turned into pneumonia. When he was five years old, he was diagnosed with neutropenia which meant his body found it difficult to fight off bacterial infections. Dillon had to have injections to build his cells back up and get filgrastim injections in his legs which hurt a lot. Thankfully Dillon is ok now and always shows his support for the hospital and the staff by raising lots of money for The ARCHIE Foundation.
Dillon is the mascot for Mark who is a Police Officer in Peterhead. Mark is looking forward to the match and is especially looking forward to having Dillon cheer him on and lead him out on to the pitch on match day!
