Edinburgh to home by bike · 24 July 2021

Balfour Beatty employees are committed to help young people transform their lives with support from The Prince's Trust.

Story

After taking the train to Edinburgh, Andy and I will be cycling the 456 miles (approx) back to Stevenage in support of The Prince's Trust.  Our journey will take us through Dunbar, Berwick Upon Tweed, Whitley Bay, Great Ayton, York, Lincoln and Cambridge, averaging 50 miles per day.  With match funding from Balfour Beatty, we hope to raise much needed funds for The Prince's Trust to help support 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. The youth charity was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1976 and has helped more than 950,000 young people to date, giving them the skills and confidence to change their lives. Three in four young people on Prince's Trust courses move into work, education or training.  Thank you for your sponsorship.  Mark
