Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

On April 17th 2011 I'm going to be running my first London Marathon.

I'm raising money again for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. This cause is particulary close to home for us as a family friend's son has been diagnosed with MND. As well as funding research into the disease the MNDA use donations to make life more comfortable to the sufferer.

As you may know I've run a few marathons before but they seem to be getting harder! Training will start soon so if anyone wants to run with me to encourage me that would be brilliant.

All donations and help is greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
