Story
Hi guys, thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 4th September 2011 I am hoping to ride from the East Coast to West Coast of Scotland with a group of people I have never met before and a team of highland ponies. I will be riding for approximately 6 hours a day and camping over night. By no means is this a sit on the back of a horse and he will do the work, this is a very hard challenge with steep climbs, cross country and a very long time in the saddle.
This challenge is in order to raise money for World Horse Welfare formally known as the International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH).
World Horse Welfare help horses by rescuing, reabilitating and retraining horses and all equines in need. In Mexico they help with veterinary care for working equines and working with the other charities, they have the ability to provide emergency relief when natural disasters threaten horses in the countries where they work. By helping care for working equines in developing countries, they also help people who use the horses and donkeys to farm the land, carry goods and as transport.
World Horse Welfare also help by increasing awareness of animal welfare by holding many charity events and educating the public not just about helping stopping the suffering we see today, but also preventing suffering in the future.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Guys this means alot to me and I hope that you can help by giving as much as you can
So please dig deep and donate now.
