In memory of Stephanie Beesley

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 2nd September 2022, our world was turned upside down with the devastating news that Steph had an aggressive and incurable form of cancer - Metastic (stage IV) colorectal cancer (BRAF mutation). This mutation had spread to her ovaries, liver, stomach and lungs.
Brave, strong, courageous and accepting, Steph lived with this awful disease, never complaining. On 15th October 2022, Steph left this world in the loving comfort of her home, at peace, no longer in pain and looking as beautiful as ever.
BRAF mutation is seen in nearly 1 in 10 patients with advanced colorectal cancer. Patients continue to have a very poor prognosis often with a median survival of less than 12 months.
In memory of Stephanie, we would like donations to be made to Cancer Research UK who can hopefully make developments in treatments for this form of Cancer.
