Col, Rick and I have decided to take up the challenge of the coast to coast cycle route starting in Whitehaven, finishing in Tynemouth. The route is a total of 140 miles over varried terrain, mainly cycle tracks, some road sections and some tough off road trail sections. We will be completing the route over 3 days unsupported which means carrying all our kit for the journey in a rucksack making it that bit more of a challenge!
